1. Uncontested Flat Fee Divorce Initial Consultation This is when the spouses are able to reach agreement on all issues: $275 for the first hour of consultation (either in person, by telephone, conference call or zoom meeting). The flat fee consultation applies toward the flat fee if agreement is reached and the flat fee is paid during the first consultation. If further mediation with both parties is requested, the cost for additional mediation is $275/hr.
2. Uncontested Flat Fee starting $1,895 applies when the attorney drafts all documents, including the initial petition for divorce or separation, parenting plan, child support order and worksheet (if applicable), spousal support provisions and all legal provisions to effectuate the parties’ agreement, and then drafts the final divorce decree and supplemental papers at the end of the mandatory 90-day waiting period. This is when the attorney handles all drafting of mandatory documents, all filing, and all court appearances so that the parties do not have to go to court at all.
3. Uncontested Flat Fee of $1,195 applies when the attorney drafts all documents but does not file the documents with the court or set up or handle the presentment of orders in court at the end of the 90-day waiting period. All legal provisions are included on the documents but the parties are in charge of setting the hearing and handling the process of filing and entering the final divorce or separation papers.
4. Document Review This is when the parties are not in agreement and the client is handling the case on their own but wants and attorney to review the documents. Billed per hour at the attorney hourly rate, currently $275 per hour. This applies to parties that want advice as to how to handle the case on their own or need help drafting legal documents or filing them with the court.
5. Flat Fee Modification of Child Support and/or Parenting Plans We offer a flat fee on case by case basis for uncontested modifications of child support and parenting plans.
6. Filing Fee is currently $314 for divorce, $56 for modifications. and $260 for adoptions. Ask about qualifying to waive the filing fee if your expenses exceed your income.
7. Quit Claim Deeds and Qualified Domestic Relations Orders can be drafted on a case by case basis.
